For those who don’t know me, I am Frann Bilus, a professional in Boston’s residential real estate market affiliated with Otis & Ahearn Real Estate. This is not my first profession. In fact, I was a marketing executive in the consumer products industry and a strategic business consultant to Fortune 500 companies. In these roles, I provided business intelligence and strategic advice on which my clients based big business decisions, like whether to expand in a new market, consolidate their product line to improve profitability or acquire a company to achieve growth. With each client, my focus was on listening to their issues, reading between the lines, identifying key problems to solve and opportunities to pursue, understanding the industry in which they competed and the challenges they faced. Through in-depth research and analysis of data, I provided insights and advice that enabled my clients to make the best-informed business decisions possible.
So you may ask, “What does my past experience have to do with real estate?”. In fact, everything, and it is my raison d’être (in real estate, that is). I got into the business because I have a passion for real estate development and design, for the nuances of city living, and for advising people based on analysis of data and sound judgment. Along with this passion, I bring my clients—buyers and sellers alike—a consultative style, an analytical approach, savvy negotiation skills and marketing expertise. I have an in-depth knowledge of the Boston residential real estate market and its distinctive neighborhoods honed through years of experience as a broker and as an advisor in my husband’s real estate development business. My greatest satisfaction comes from helping my clients make the best-informed real estate decisions possible.
This brings us to BilusOnBoston. The goal of my blog is to inform and provide perspective on the home buying and selling process, as well as inspire and contribute to the lifestyle you have or to which you aspire in downtown Boston.
