For the first time ever, Boston will host “Boston Design Week,” a 10-day event that seeks to increase public awareness and appreciation of all aspects of design, from architecture and interior design, to graphic and studio design, to urban design and the city’s renewal efforts. The city-wide festival will offer lectures, exhibitions, open studios and many other activities through greater Boston that are free and open to the public.
I’m delighted to be hosting one of the featured programs in this first-of-its-kind event. If you’re considering trading in your suburban lifestyle for an urban one and if you’re contemplating living in downtown Boston, then be sure to put this event in your calendar and register to attend. At “Downsize Your Space & Maximize Your Lifestyle: Think Boston,” my colleagues and I will offer knowledge and insights, engage in a lively discussion and answer your questions about the opportunities and challenges of transitioning to urban living. Please join me on Sunday, March 23, from 10:45 AM – 12:00 PM, at the Poggenpohl Kitchen Design Studio at 135 Newbury Street in Boston.
