Millennium Tower, the hottest new construction project in Boston, promises to change the face of Downtown Crossing. This ultra-luxury, 60-story edgy tower (at the site of the former Filene’s Department Store) includes 442 contemporary high-end condo residences, which are now being offered for sale to the general public. This exceptional property comes with on-site access to all the amenities and benefits of a luxury hotel including an indoor lap pool, state-of-the-art fitness facilities, concierge service, club room, media room, game room and private owner’s lounge with a restaurant by the renowned Michael Mina. Plus, there’s the signature La Vie® lifestyle program (also available at the neighboring Millennium Place) offering residents opportunities to meet and connect with other owners and experience the culture and lifestyle in Boston. There are even two lobbies to minimize elevator traffic for residents.
Homes at Millennium Tower include high ceilings (nine feet and above), over-sized windows, and top-of-the-line appliances such as a Subzero refrigerator, wine cooler and gas cooking. Some units boast incredible views—city, park and water. Buyers can select from among approximately 40 different floor plans of stunning one- to three-bedroom homes, plus raw penthouse units (featuring private outdoor space) that are being sold as a shell and would require a custom build-out. Two- and three-bedroom homes will include one valet garage parking space. While few one-bedrooms come with parking, there is access to rental parking right nearby. One-bedroom homes currently start at around $1 million. Two bedrooms, between 1,200 to 1,800 square feet, start at $1.550 million and three-bedrooms are priced at $3 million and above.
One hundred fifty homes are already committed as of last week, when the sales office officially opened, roughly two years in advance of the property’s projected opening in late summer 2016. If the Millennium experience appeals to you, many outstanding homes are still available. The sales presentation, which I attended last week, incorporates panoramic views so you can actually see what your view will be from every unit. I was wowed by this! To see for yourself what Millennium Tower has to offer along with the exciting residential, retail and infrastructure enhancements that make the Downtown Crossing one of Boston’s most vibrant neighborhoods, email or call me to schedule appointment.
