The annual Boston Home Show, which runs this weekend, has a new home at Cruiseport Boston on Black Falcon Pier in the city’s Seaport “Innovation District”. With hundreds of exhibitors providing the latest in home products and services― including kitchens, baths, patios, windows, interior design and more―show goers are sure to gather a wealth of ideas and inspiration for renovating or updating their home. The accompanying lecture and demonstration series will feature respected experts sharing how-to tips and advice on topics that range from investing in architecture, to pattern and color in the home, to organic patio container gardening. An added bonus, attendees will also have the chance to win a dream kitchen.
In celebration of the new location, the Boston Design Center is partnering with the Boston Home Show by hosting a Red Tag Sale right next door at One Design Center Place. The BDC’s Red Tag Sale offers consumers an extraordinary opportunity to shop for world-class home furnishings in showrooms normally accessible to the design trade only. The Red Tag Sale will feature thousands of high-end floor samples including furniture, fabric, rugs, lighting, art and accessories, all available at 30–60% off showroom list prices and ready to take home.
The Boston Home Show is located at Black Falcon Pier, 1 Black Falcon Ave. on the South Boston Waterfront. The Design Center’s Red Tag Sale is located right next door at One Design Center Place. The two events will be open on Saturday, January 26th, 10 am–8 pm and Sunday, January 27th, 10 am–5 pm. Admission is $10 for both events. For inspiration and trends designed for what is likely your biggest investment, your home, consider making this part of your weekend plans. Visit the event’s website for more information.
